Choosing a room
Start with the ticket price. The Penny Parlour and Quick Thirty keep costs low, which makes them a sensible place to learn the pace of the game. The Crazy Hall and Night Owls cost a little more per ticket, and the pot is larger because of that, not because the odds are any different.
Next, think about time. A 90-ball game can take several minutes, while 30-ball is finished almost before you've settled in. If you only have a short break, Tea Break 80 runs in the afternoon with games every five minutes.
What the statuses mean
- Tickets on sale: the room is open and you can buy tickets for the next game.
- Starting soon: less than a minute until the first ball. Tickets bought now go into this game if sales are still open, otherwise into the next one.
- Opens at …: the room is outside its hours. You can pre-buy tickets for the first game of the next session.
